Bioline implants are manufactured from high-purity Grade 5 medical titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI), a material widely recognized for its exceptional mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility.

Each implant undergoes advanced surface treatment processes, including the proprietary BioFix™ citric acid conditioning, which optimizes the biological properties of the titanium surface while preserving its structural integrity. This environmentally friendly process utilizes naturally derived, biocompatible materials to enhance surface cleanliness and wettability, promoting predictable osseointegration and long-term clinical success.

The gold or blue color of Bioline implants is the result of a controlled anodization process that forms a stable titanium oxide layer on the implant surface. The color reflects the thickness of the oxide layer created during the electrochemical treatment and does not affect the implant’s dimensions or precision.

The anodization process enhances corrosion resistance, increases surface hardness, and improves the wear resistance of the implant–abutment connection. It also serves as a final surface treatment that helps ensure a clean, stable, and biocompatible titanium surface by removing residual contaminants from the manufacturing process.
